Tax Preparation

MYTHS

All Tax Returns are the same

Oh Boy is this concept WRONG.

There is nothing generic about Tax Preparation, not only does the requirements of Tax Preparation vary from person to person, but many people find their requirements change year to year.

THE TAX LAWS ARE COMPLEX AND OFTEN PARADOXICAL

I used the word “paradoxical” for a good reason, as the current Tax Laws are not only very complex, but they are filled with contradictory concepts and mismatched ideas. The Tax Laws (or Codes as they’re known) are not an organized set of rules guiding the Collection of Taxes (as they should be), but instead they are a huge jumble of mismatched rules many of which are in conflict.

HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU’RE PAYING TOO MUCH?

Most people tend to blindly except that whatever taxes their employer withholds from their paycheck is what they owe. And this is 100% totally wrong.

Worst yet, most people these days do not Tax Plan. They just blindly make financial decisions hoping everything works out OK. And thanks, in no small part, to the complex and contradictive Tax Laws it’s very easy for the average Tax Payer to overpay never knowing anything is wrong.

PLANNING TO FAIL

When you just assume everything is OK you’re literally planning to fail. Tax Preparation and Tax Planning is serious business. There are NO laws, NO rules, NO codes, which automatically protect Taxpayers from overpaying. To pay the smallest amount of tax possible, you must correctly and strategically prepare and file a Tax Return to the Federal, State, and sometimes Local Tax Offices.

TAX PREPARATION ISN’T 1-2-3 EASY

And remember, mistakes that you make which cause you to overpay are rarely corrected. When it comes to Taxation, you’re always allowed to pay too much.
